David Pybus (External Affairs) of Cleveland Potash has contacted me.
Cleveland Potash intend to carry out a seaborne Seismic survey between Sandsend and Runswick bay during the spring of 2009. The exact timings are not known at present but it is expected to be March – May 09. I understand that the Seismic Survey vessel will be either at anchor during the time of the survey or dragging a long cable behind the vessel steaming around the survey area.
David would like to engage with the Club and brief our members regarding the interference that may be caused in the early part of 2009 to vessels in the survey area. He is keen to attend the Club and provide a PowerPoint brief early in the new year.
Subject to Committee approval I will arrange a suitable date in January to provide a full briefing to all members. I was going to suggest either the evening of Saturday 10th January or the afternoon of Saturday 24th January. Nigel Robinson has arranged the Burns night on the 24th January. On Friday 23rd January Nigel has a practice dance night for the Burns night.

Whitby Marina Onshore Facilities
Scarborough Borough Councils Technical Services and Regeneration and Planning Services have been working in partnership with stakeholders over the past 4 years to bring to fruition a number of initiatives at Whitbys’ Upper Harbour in a bid to develop and diversify the economic, leisure and cultural facilities the town has to offer.
The current scheme commenced with the installation new pontoon berths in the river Esk for use by both resident and visiting leisure craft. These were completed in February 2007 and proved highly successful with full occupancy achieved upon opening.
In May 2008 of rock armour (revetment) works were completed to the west shore of the River Esk in order to stabilise river bank erosion and secure the future of the site as well as improve its aesthetic appearance.
The quality of the pontoons and the economic benefits they have brought to the town is already evident and visitor craft numbers have increased.
Research suggests that each leisure craft vessel within will spend in the region of £3,500 within the local economy in addition to moorings fees.
Therefore this industry makes a valuable contribution to the local economy of the town.
However, in order to capitalise fully on the potential of Whitby as a leisure craft destination new marina onshore facilities are required to replace the existing outdated ones.
It is the intention of the project to develop onshore facilities which will act to promote Whitby as a high quality leisure craft destination both nationally and on the European stage.
We look forward to receiving your comments and input for the scheme.

Final adventures of Roy & Anne 2008
Hi Guys.
Well here we are sat in Las Vegas airport about to go to New York for 2 nights before flying home on Wednesday.
We left you last time just about to head up towards Seattle area - we went over on the ferry to Vancouver Island through the San Juan Islands - seeing lots of yachts in Friday Harbour on the way!Had a day out in Victoria in blazing sun - and went on to Butchart Gardens - a stunning place. We then travelled the length and breadth of the island taking 2 weeks. Here the weather was very different from the hot sun we have encountered most of the time - cool, rainy - well what can you expect when the whole island seems to be a huge rainforest!Back to mainland Canada we journeyed through Whistler - busy getting ready for the Olympics and on to Yoho National Park, Lake Louise and then Banff - where it snowed !We went south to Waterton International Peace Park which was wonderful and the weather improved. We had some lovely walks. Down across the border and into Glacier International Peace Park in Montana ( they are connected) and here we saw more bears than we did in Yellowstone - awesome!! Also did some great walks.Moved down to Yellowstone Park again and the Tetons where the wildlife viewing was much better than in July as they are all moving down out of the mountains. We stayed about 2 weeks and then moved south to Capitol Reef again where the temperature just got hotter and hotter - and the apple and pear orchards were ready to pick.
Continued south into Zion Park where we managed to hike The Narrows - as river level down - we walked about 2 miles up into the canyon - it was fun. Finally we have just spent 9 days at Lake Mead (26 miles from Las Vegas) where we did lots of cleaning, polishing and sorting things out to put car and trailer in store - and thats what we've been doing today. We did venture into Vegas for 2 days while the car was having warranty work done - what a place - wall to wall gambling 24/7 - good to see but every 10 years is enough!
Had a bit of a fit when I saw the 10ft wide space we had to back trailer into - but Superb Roy did it in one !!!! Wound the legs down, unhooked the car and then he says - Its not in the middle of the space!! So wound legs down, put towbar on and moved it ! Now its perfect - can't have the man phoning us saying come back and re-site it! So that's the end of a perfect vacation - we have had the most amazing time, we are still married !!!! and we can't wait to come back in March and do it all again. We hope everyone is well and look forward to seeing you soon.

Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta 2009
Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta 2009 (9-12 July 2009) is Ireland’s biggest regatta and every two years attracts over 500 boats to the capital’s waters.
Although it is one of Ireland’s largest participant sporting events, with 3500 sailors involved, it continues to attract sailors from abroad because of its friendly welcome from all four of Dun Laoghaire’s yacht clubs and local towns people.
The proximity of a four star hotel and an 800 berth marina on site have quickly established the venue as a popular choice for visiting yachts, the UK especially.
Racing is arranged for 25 classes on nine courses and the fleet is expected to reach 600 boats for July 2009.

Commodore’s Message
Commodore’s Message……..Autumn Statement
This is something new to the Club, a Commodores Statement! It’s not a special announcement, but just update on the items of interest that are occurring in the Club which I think the membership will hopefully find interesting!
All Club members know that the Club lost a prominent member with the sad death of Peter Turner. Peter was a tireless worker for the good of Whitby and the Yacht Club in particular. He will be sadly missed by all.
It’s good to see several new boats appearing on the Racing scene, I particularly welcome Bernie & Pauline on Cavalier, Gareth and Lisa on Jalfrezi, Pete Brown on his replacement boat, Skywalker and Stu & Liz on their new boat, Beeste. I would like to congratulate Stu and Liz on their recent wedding and successes in Sunderland on the sailing front – Well Done! It’s also nice to see Gerry Firth has purchased a 40’ J120 to be named ‘déJà vo, I hope to see it racing at Whitby shortly! It’s good to see a slight increase in the Racing fleet, perhaps we can further build on this increase next in 2009?
The Rear Commodore Cruise has been busy this year; Keith & Irene worked hard to make the Dutch Trip to Whitby a success. I hope Keith has enjoyed his first year ‘in office’ and hope the weather is kinder to him on the next outing with the racing fleet to Hartlepool on the Riva Cup weekend. It’s nice to see new cruising boats; I again welcome Paxos (Derek & Jacqui Bayley), Providence of Whitby (Mark Degeneer), Wombat (David & Pauline Jenkins), Minarca (John & Alison Taylor) and Carina (Nigel & Lisa Jarvis) to the Club, Nigel certainly enjoyed his trip with the ‘Riva Fleet’ to his old home port of Hartlepool and discovered the delights of the ‘Small Craft Club’ for the first time!!!
2008 has been a very successful year financially for the Club with increased revenue from all revenue centres and costs managed in a prudent manner. It is especially pleasing to see a healthy growth in the Club’s Membership. Bar takings are noticeably up with the increased Social programme with all of the functions being well attended. I think the Club is Whitby’s best keep secret and I am hopeful that our membership will increase the next year due to the Club Members hard work.
The Club cash flow position is looking buoyant.
It is my hope that some of the operating profits will be ploughed back into the Club infrastructure which will improve the Club facilities. The following projects are in the planning stage or early stages of implementation:
• Replacement UPVC window on order for the main Bar area – planned for late September 08.
• Completion of the Club kitchen upgrade by a small dedicated team of volunteers’ to provide the Club with first class catering facilities.
• Refurbishment of the Racing Station including new supporting steelwork and new foundation work – work has started with a planned completion by Nov/Dec 08. With the renovation of the Racing Station, new furniture being provided for use in the Station and the possible introduction of new signalling and communications technologies, it is hoped to induce and train ‘volunteers’ to run the Racing Station in 2009
• Club House roof insulation, at present the Club has no roof insulation in place planned for November 08.
• Renovation of both Ladies & Gentlemen’s Toilets, this will include new tiling and porcelain products/equipment – planned for November 08.
• Renovation of the Cadet Room which will include new blinds / curtains and presentation technologies.
I would like to see more members joining the Club, with new members will hopefully come with new boats! The Rear Commodore Power is working very hard in ensuring that the Power Boat flag is ‘flown’ and due to his efforts with Seajade (Sue & Bob Theaker) has recently joined the Club, and I know other boats are in the process of joining! Well done RCP!
I would also like to see the Club purchase a work boat. This purchase would be a benefit to the Club to enable the Racing marks to be laid or adjusted without the requirement to pay a fisherman to do it (only to find the marks could be in the wrong location!). The purchase of this asset by the Club requires careful planning, we must be sure that we purchase the right boat and have the sufficient funds and volunteers to maintain it year on year.
I would like to thank all the members who took part in the Sail Past and attended the Commodores Day weekend celebrations, my thanks are also extended to the valiant team who prepared the Club House and organised Commodores Day Lunch – Well Done! Sitting 72 people and ensuring they are all fed is hard work!
Finally, I would like to thank all the Members who have worked hard this year with either a Boat Night, working behind the Bar or any of the other many tasks which go unseen to enable the Club to function. I particularly would like to thank Lorraine for the support she gives me, because without her assistance I would not be able to manage to work, race and be in the Club as much as I do! Thank you Lorraine.

Mark Turton
'Peggy Turton has advised me that she wishes to scatter Mark's Ashes in the vicinity of 'S' Mark at 1600hrs on Sunday 31st August 2008 from Yacht Teemane. Peggy would welcome friends & Club Members to join with her and her family on Sunday to assist with the scattering of the ashes.
Weather permitting, it is intended to depart from the Marina pontoon to use the 1530hrs Bridge on Sunday. Peggy would like to see as many boats as possible to attend on the day, and hopes that Yachts will dress overall in rememberance of Mark.

We wallked quite a bit there - always down first into the canyon and then the hard slog up!!! From here we went to Capitol Reef, a little known place but exceptional and equal to Zion and Bryce in its own way. We stopped in a place called Fruita which used to be a Mormon settlement. It was so peaceful set in a lovely valley full of orchards - plum, peach, cherry, apple and pear - none of which were ripe when we were there!We are hoping to return that way to sample some of the free fruit !!We arrived next in Flaming Gorge, still in Utah, a huge watersports area but not a single yacht in sight !!We moved to Wyoming and had a memorable time at the 49th Eastern Shoshone PowWow. A 3 day event including Indian Rodeo and traditional dancing. Hundreds of Native Americans in wonderful traditional regalia dancing in competitions for prize money.We then went to Cody to spend 4 days over the 4th July enjoying their annual Cody Stampede. We went to the Rodeo on the 4th and then on the 5th we went back to watch Xtreme Bulls - 40 of the top bull riders vs 40 of the rankest bulls - AWESOME !!During the days there was a parade and live free music in the open air park. Roy was in seventh heaven with all the country music !Our next destination was Yellowstone National Park where we spent 2 weeks moving throughout the park and staying at 4 different sites. We walked, saw hundreds of Bison, herds of Elk, Wolves and their young, Coyotes, Mule and Pronghorn Deer,Beaver, Geysers, Fumeroles (steam vents), mud pots, Black Bear and cubs.We did a trail called Snow Pass and while walking through the forest part Roy suddenly said " there's a bear" and all my prayers were answered - I have always wanted to see a Grizzly of my own - not on the road with loads of cars around. It was so special, I would have stayed but Roy being the good person and protecting me - I hope - called out so the bear would hear, he was not in any rush to leave the area and at one time I thought he was going to come towards us but he finally went off into the forest. It was difficult to get a photo but I just watched him, so majestic - then Roy made us move along the trail and it was over. Half an hour later he says "stop where you are" and there on the path just at the side of him is a rattlesnake or so we think. Well it rattled, reared its head up as if to strike then backed off - it had zig zag markings and they are in the park. Bear was AWESOME - Snake was NOT !!!!The winter here was late this year, they had snow in June but to our advantage as the wildflowers have been spectacular and some Rangers say there are flowers they have never seen before, it has also meant that the rivers, creeks and waterfalls are still sending melt water down so again are stunning to see.Finally we moved to Grand Teton National Park - 80 miles south. These mountains are my most favourite apart from the Matterhorn. Imagine a whole row of Matterhorns rising from a plain. They were excellent for walking in, we spent 8 days here and saw the elusive Moose, which we had not seen in Yellowstone.We are now in Montana in Bozeman before heading towards Seattle. We have enjoyed ourselves so much we have decided to put the car and trailer in store in Las Vegas in October and return here next March till June then back again August till November. So crew available June and July 09 !!! We keep in touch with the racing on website, hope the weather keeps improving for you all.We were so very sad to hear about Peter Turner, a kind, helpful, wonderful gentleman who will be greatly missed. Please pass on our condolences to his family. Safe and successful sailing to all, have a good Commodores Day.

It is with great sadness I have to inform Club Members that Peter Turner sadly passed away at 0200hrs on Wednesday 30th July 2008.
Peter was a staunch member who worked tirelessly for the good of the Club. His friendly manner made him many friends both on the Marina where he was employed as Marina Superintendent or lately as Club House Manager.
Peter was one of lifes Gentlemen, his friendly smile behind the Bar will be greatly missed.

We are pleased to announce that a thorough survey conducted of the Upgang reef approaching low water on Sunday was successful and the findings are said to be in line with those previously published by the Admiralty.
Like any good researcher the area under survey was then re-visited to confirm the data - resulting in the second bump which also confirmed it is very gritty.
Wondered why it took him sooooooooo long on that beat!

Complaint from Harbourmaster
At the latest harbour users meeting, the Harbourmaster stated he has received more than one complaint regarding yachts leaving the harbour & stopping in the middle of the fairway to hoist their sails.
The harbourmaster has asked that all yachts refrain from doing this, if they need to hoist sails in the harbour they should do it in Collier Hope out of the line of the fairway so as not to cause an obstruction.

Adventures of Anne & Roy
Hi All
Thought we would give you an update of our travels.
We are now clear of all tornados, cold and snow etc and enjoying hot sunny days in the 90's in the beautiful Zion Canyon in Utah. On our travels to reach here we have crossed Oklahoma from right to left including the panhandle, into Southern Colorado which has captivated us so much we could have stayed longer. We saw the amazing Great Sand dunes National Park which rise to 750 feet and are sat at the base of the San Juan Mountains.Tough to climb but fun to come down !
We then went into the San Juan Mountains visiting Creede and Silverton, still old cowboy mining towns. Roy was found loitering outside one of the Bordellos but he then realised it had closed in 1949!
We spent a wonderful morning in Pergosa Springs - 18 individual, naturally hot therapeutic springs ranging from 97oC to 113oC. We reeked of sulphur for days !
Still heading west our next stop was at Durango and then Cortez where we spent 2 days visiting Mesa Verde National Park - an awe inspiring area of cliff dwellings from 700 years ago.
We have spent time watching and taking part in Navajo dances - well we sort of joined hands and went round in ever decreasing circles till we finished up all shaking hands with each other.
Monument Valley was "monumental". Everyone feels as if they have been there as its in so many films but it was awesome ( a word we find ourselves using more and more). We stayed in a campground in the Valley right next to the famous Merrick Butte and Two Mittens, watching the sun rise and set followed by a billion stars in the desert sky while listening to Navajo drums and chanting echoing all around. It was haunting and eerie.
On our journey to the Grand Canyon we stopped at Page, and uninspiring place but some people told us about a place called Antelope Canyon so we spent 2 hours looking at this wonderful red rock slot canyon, sometimes only wide enough for one person to walk in. Carved by sand water and wind into fantastic shapes with shafts of sunlight filtering through - another exceptional Navajo sight !
The North Rim of the Grand Canyon saw us hiking into and around the canyon. It far surpassed the more popular and busy south rim.
So now we are spending a week in Zion National Canyon. they really have it sorted here, no cars allowed in the canyon, free bus shuttle service(propane run) every 8 minutes stops at 7 different places in the canyon and there are walks, hikes climbs for all shapes and sizes.
We did the 5 mile Angels Landing Trail - 1488 feet from the canyon bottom and by the time I had climbed and scrambled up rocks clinging to chains to stop from falling off I felt as if I had almost reached heaven - but well worth the effort !
Roys hopes of reaching Alaska are fading as we are spending longer in places than planned.
We hope the sailing is improving for you all and get out there Class B and give Samaki a run for his money !
Finally just so you dont think Im enjoying myself TOO much Roy has purchased a guitar from an Indian pawn shop and after re-stringing it he "serenades" me on the campsite each night. I bet some of you are missing his music on the pontoon!

Whitby Yacht Club have a deep water pontoon mooring available situated in the lower harbour between the swing bridge and the lifeboat pier, with access to the sea at all states of the tide. Access is by tender which increases security.

Marina Ground Works

The Harbour Master has informed the Club that the Marina Ground works which started in February 2008 will be completed by Friday 16th May.
Members will be pleased to know that the car park for Marina users will be fully reopened by this Friday evening.
The Harbour Master is pleased with the work carried out by Seymours and apologises for any inconvenience caused to the Marina users during the period the work has been carried out.

Kip Regatta
Our two representatives from Whitby, Antix and Off Limits put in a very creditable performance in the Kip Regatta Series on the Clyde over the weekend.
Both Antix skippered by John Allen and Gerry Firth on Off Limits came 3rd overall in their respective classes.
The crews had a strong Whitby contingent amongst them.
Well done to you both. The WYC flag is flying in Scotland again.

Pontoon BBQ
The Club ran a successful 'Come as you are' Pontoon BBQ in the Club House on Saturday evening (10th May).
The Weather had 'Got its Hat on' and the Balcony was in full use whilst the BBQ 'King' (Chris Hinds) made full use of his cooking skills! The Bar was well run by Nigel Robinson, Phil Robinson and Pete Turner.
An excellent Buffet was orginised by Julia, Linda & Phil. Everybody had a enjoyable evening.

Well talking about missing tornados - last night I suppose you could say we missed it but about 8pm the site man came knocking on the door and told us to go into the office as the storm was just above us.
We had been listening on radio to local weather which is superb as its non stop and tracks the storms and tornados so we sat in office for half an hour with about 8 other people praying it would pass which it did it was torrential rain, forked lightening and massive winds. I no like it !!!!!
During night at about 3am the winds woke me up but not Roy so I woke him to listen - he said its ok not bad !!!!! I tried to imagine some of the horrid days on North sea and how Oasis looked after us - I didn’t have the feeling with Zinger.
Next morning dawned bright sunny wind still quite bad so we decided to have a day walking and thoroughly enjoyed it. It really brings it home to you about these tornado warnings and how quickly they move. Last night 5 people died. This is a wonderful country but not one I could live in with such extreme weather.

Round Britain Clockwise
'Nigel Robison gave a very interesting talk and slide show on his 'Round Britain to Clockwise' 2008 Race/Cruise in the Club House on Friday 2nd May to a very appreciative audience. The whole evening was very successful and Keith Gowland (Rear Commodore Cruise) thanked Nigel for the time he had taken to prepare for the lecture which was well received by the members - Well Done Nigel'

Letter from Oasis 2 or Zinger
Howdy Folks
Would my man dare take me anywhere there is a risk of bad weather !
Story so far - no probs with flights and customs - as usual got lost finding Motel which was only 2 miles from airport - took 1 hour - Roy stopped on road to ask a police man where to go - it was dark - and the man started shouting at Roy - Bless him - just asked him calmly for help and he did in end. Roy said later he was praying I didn’t get out as we may have got ourselves arrested ! That night there was a huge thunderstorm.
Next day went to Best Buy and got phone and laptop - horrors its not as easy as it looks to use laptop, but sort of getting there and have now got hang of wifi - I think. Alan – don’t shout at me but not attempted photo side yet may have to ask someone to show me - scared I jigger it up.
We then went to Oklahoma - to buy SUV - that was the easy bit, it took 2 days and a round trip to Arkansas, Texas and back to Oklahoma getting 2 PO boxes to enable us to buy, insure and register it. Sorted by Monday drove to Missouri to complete purchase of travel trailer, that was easier. We have now spent 2 nights in our Zinger its heaven after the cramped space in Oasis.
We are in Ozark mountain area in north of Arkansas while we wait for our title for car and then we will go back to Fort Smith (didn’t know you had your own place here) to register trailer and collect post.
We spent day and half in Memphis, had tour round city, saw Beale street where it all happens music wise, tour of Graceland was superb.
We also watched the twisters on the TV but we have managed to miss them, when in Memphis they were on storm alert but twister missed by about 35 miles.
Weather has been good I am sat in hot sun looking over lovely rolling hills, Roy is trying to fix water heater, there are so many controls in this trailer to keep him occupied.
The trailer place man took a pic of us before we left and emailed it to me, I hope it is attached !
Both the car and trailer people were absolutely amazing, both family run places, and without their help at one stage with the car I thought we were almost giving up and on the next plane home!

New Members Night
May I take this opportunity to thank you for all the hard work that you all put in for the New Members Night.
The whole evening was a huge success with approx 75 people in the in the Club on Saturday evening. The Buffet was excellent, I was asked by a member which catering contractors the Club used! Well done Julia, Marilyn, Irene and Lorraine on your efforts in the kitchen.
Irene's idea of putting name tags on was an excellent 'ice breaker' and provided a great talking point. The Club house was attractively decorated for the occasion and looked excellent - well done Peter and Bidi.
The Bar was exceptionally busy and I would like to thank the Bar staff (Pete, Ian, Keith & Nathan) for all their efforts. I think the RCC and the RCP have both had a 'misspent youths' looking at their Bar talents!
In addition, could I also thank Marilyn who worked all day Saturday to enable the New Members to receive their 2008 Year Books on the evening.
The feed back I have received from some of the New Members so far has been excellent, lets hope that this is the start of a busy and successful year for the Club.

The Royal Navy Presentation Team
The Royal Navy Presentation Team travels the length and breadth of the UK talking to a wide cross section of the community: business, industry,education, charities, local government, media and youth groups. Using a 35 minute multimedia presentation, we describe the role of today's modern Navy, its people, equipment and plans for the future. We are due to visit Whitby Tuesday 20th May 2008 for an evening presentation at Sneaton Castle, Whitby, YO21 3QN. We are delighted to invite members of the WhitbyYacht Club, family and friends and anyone from the local community who may be interested to this event. There is an opportunity to socialise before and after the presentation with refreshments available. Previous audiences have always welcomed the opportunity to talk with the team and meet other guests. It is also a considered to be a good networking tool for the community.

NECRA Chairmans comments to WYC News item.
I was a very saddened to read the comment 'This of course leaves Whitby Yacht Club out in the cold again' in the news item about to the NECRA programme changes 2008. This seems to be a somewhat misleading and inaccurate comment. In complete contrast, I feel that NECRA has worked very hard to increase the involvement of WYC in NECRA activities in recent years. It is not clear from the item who/what is the source of the comment, but may I ask that you pass on this note to them and perhaps post this as a rejoinder to their comment? Looking at the facts:- *This season * Whitby is involved in 3 NECRA events. It is the finishing club for the overnight race from Sunderland, the starting club for the feeder race for the NECRA regatta at Hartlepool, and the starting club for the Hartlepool - Whitby race following the overnight race. RNYC is also involved in 3 events, SYC involved in 4 events, THYC is involved in 6 events (because the regatta is being held there this year) *Last season* Whitby was involved in 6 events, more than any other NECRA club. They hosted the 2 day NECRA regatta, were the finishing club for both the overnight race and the two feeder races for the regatta (from Scarborough and Hartlepool) and the starting club for the Whitby -Hartlepool race. In contrast RNYC were involved in 4 events, THYC, 2 events and SYC, 4 events. /*How can this possibly be regarded as Whitby YC as being 'out in the cold', either this season or last season?*/ WYC is a highly valued member of NECRA, the WYC representative is an ever present participant at all of the committee meetings and always has the WYC viewpoint to present. I do not recall *any *occasion over the past two years when there has been any decision taken in committee that has not been unanimous. If the feeling at WYC is truly that they feel 'out in the cold', then I suggest that they mandate their representative to present this viewpoint to the next NECRA committee, together with suggestions as to how the situation could be improved! New Boats for the WYC Fleet
The winter period has been an exiting time for some of our members. It would appear Santa Claus has been a very busy fellow. At a time when sailing is going through a depression WYC has managed to buck the trend with three new additions to the fleet.
First Mike and Marilyn Dixon decided to buy a 32ft Feeling "Teemane".
Then Stuart Lockwood not getting enough excitement with his Formula 1 has bought the ex National champion Impala "Beeste".
Not to be left out of the fun Gareth Morgan has bought an HB31 " Jalfrezi".

We wish them all the sailors dream "Fair winds and a flat sea".

Committee changes for 2008
As you will be aware we did not have anyone wishing to stand as Secretary at the AGM. In addition the following officers of the Club submitted letters of resignation from the Committee over the Christmas period:
RCH - Debbie Theaker Membership Secretary - Liz Lorains Dinghy/Frostbite officer - Anni Bentley.
I am very pleased to say that Julia Drake has kindly offered to act as Club Secretary for this year and Marilyn Dixon has offered to help out at as Membership Secretary, Marilyn obviously missed the exciting Friday Committee meetings!!! With the change in officers the Committee has been realigned slightly and areas of responsibility have been changed to allow the Committee to get on with its business and the club to function correctly. Therefore the new Committee's line up will be as follows:
